Former India skipper Rahul Dravid applied for the position of head coach of Team India on October 26, 2021. He is currently serving as the head of the National Cricket Academy.

The Mullaperiyar dam, located in Kerala’s Idukki district, was constructed in 1895 by the British to meet the water requirements of Madurai in Tamil Nadu. It is managed by the Tamil Nadu government.

Uttar Pradesh has become the first state to impose stock limits on edible oil. This was informed by Sudhanshu Pandey, Secretary of the Food and Public Distribution Department on October 25, 2021.
